This illustrious group harmoniously combines musical talents with a range of abilities, specialising in piano, violin, viola and cello. The ensemble dynamically evolves every term into a grand orchestral masterpiece for our concerts, enhanced by percussion, woodwind and brass accompaniment.
Under the mentorship of our dedicated teachers, students showcase an unparalleled blend of talent, dedication and sheer passion, in rehearsal and on stage. Get ready to be part of this electrifying musical synergy!
Meets every Friday evening during term time, 6.00pm – 7.00pm, at our music centre. Performs a variety of styles: classical, jazz, Caribbean and African music.
Takes place at our music centre on Saturday, 5.00pm – 6.00pm, building group performance, synchronisation and confidence from an early age.
CYM Choir gives boys and girls a great opportunity to enjoy singing as part of a close-knit team, committing to a demanding but rewarding schedule to express the matchless quality of their voice.
Every rehearsal begins with 30 minutes of voice training and exercises, then dives into an hour of choir practice.
Meets every Thursday evening during term time, 6.00pm – 7.00pm, at our music centre. Repertoire ranges from classical pieces and Negro spirituals to Caribbean and African music.

Everyone is required to participate actively, with punctuality, so parts balance. Please make every effort to attend once you've committed to join. No audition needed.
We encourage friends who may be interested in singing with us to come along to an open rehearsal, and we love having friends and family at our concerts.
The first two weeks of each term are held as "open rehearsals," free to attend and see what it's like. From the third week, you'll be required to register and pay to be part of the group.
